Overdraft Protection

We understand that mistakes happen or that expenses can pop up at the wrong time. We are here to help. We have two ways to help you; we can provide you with overdraft privilege or transfer money from other savings / checking accounts you own. Overdraft Privilege is a service designed to help protect you from merchant returned check charges, service start up expenses, and other merchant charges that can cost you time, money, and discomfort.

Rather than automatically returning items (checks, debit transactions, etc.) when your funds are insufficient, we will pay the amount and add the balance to your overdraft loan balance. The maximum loan balance will be determined by us when your deposit account is established. Each month you will be required to pay at least the greater of 6% of the overdraft loan balance or $25. Of course, you can also just pay the entire loan balance off as well.

Your Savings or Checking Account can also provide protection to another Checking Account by automatically transferring money from one account to your Checking Account anytime your balance falls below $0. The increments of the transfer are determined by you. A fee for each transfer will apply if you elect this option.
