At Family Merchants Bank, we strive to ensure all financial transactions, data transmissions, data transactions and communications are completed in a secure online banking environment.  To safeguard all financial and personal information, Family Merchants Bank:

• Requires both a user ID and a password, and requests that only the user knows his or her password.
• Uses encrypted pages for password log-ins.
• Retains all account data in secure Bank systems.
• Protects all e-mail sent to Family Merchants Bank and ensures that e-mail received by Family Merchants Bank is seen only by authorized Family Merchants Bank personnel.
• Maintains high standards for employee training, instilling in each Bank professional a respect for client confidentiality and online banking security.

Browser Requirements

We operate only on 4.0 or higher versions of Netscape and Microsoft browsers to support our 128-bit encryption. These browsers also prevent any encrypted information from being written onto the user's hard drive, which makes it impossible for an unauthorized user to access Family Merchant Bank customer account data.

Note: Netscape and Microsoft use the following terms to identify the 128-bit browser: "strong," "domestic grade," "high-security."
